Omid Ravankhah appointed as U23 national team head coach
The new head coach of Iran's U23 national football team s been announced.
Omid Ravankhah was selected as the new head coach of the U23 national football team after extensive reviews by the board of directors and the proposal of the technical committee, with the decision of the federation's president Mehdi Taj.
The former player of the football teams Fajr Shahid Sepasi Shiraz, Esteghlal Tehran and Saipa, whose coaching resume includes appearances in teams such as Sepidrood Rasht, Niruyom Zamani Tehran, Badran, Saipa, Pars Jonoubi Jam, Paykan Tehran and Hovadar, took over the leadership of our country's national football team under 23. Ravankhah has a history of wearing the national team's shirt in the same age group.
